OMNIC introduced the first open parcel locker for UC Berkeley in the United States. For the project, the company united the experience of developing different products into one solution: OmniHub — an all-in-one self-service station that includes a parcel locker, coffee station, a compartment for dry cleaning, and vending.
OMNIC introduced a new business model — Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and offered it to the most prominent industry players like IKEA and others. It enabled us to reach an effective ROI period for its parcel lockers — 32 months.
