Your mission:

As the Chief Operating Officer, your mission is to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth by strategically guiding the company’s development, optimizing financial performance, and scaling processes to new markets. You will ensure that goals are set and met using SMART, OKR, and Agile methodologies, and lead the adaptation and integration of business processes in new regions.

Key responsibilities:

Determine the Strategy and Formation of Objectives:

  • Together with the founders, define priorities and strategy for the company's development.
  • Form goals and priorities according to SMART, OKR, Agile methodologies.
  • Decompose goals into teams and monitor their fulfillment.

Financial Results Management:

  • Be accountable for the company's financial results.
  • Utilize existing and implement new tools to increase profits and optimize costs.

Process and System Scaling:

  • Scale processes and systems to new markets.
  • Ensure business processes are adapted and integrated into new markets.

Development of Company Culture:

  • Develop a proactive and innovative culture.
  • Strive to drive the company to be ranked #1 in the industry in Europe and other target regions.

Supporting the Company Rhythm:

  • Maintain the daily rhythm of the team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the team is highly engaged and motivated.
  • Administration of Key Tools: Jira, Confluence, PeopleForce, PipeDrive, Slack and others.

Monitor KPIs and Performance:

  • Monitor KPI compliance and fulfillment across all areas of the company.
  • Improve the effectiveness of the company's key metrics.

Project Initiation and Management:

  • Initiate and manage projects to optimize and automate business processes and teams.
  • Implement projects into day-to-day operations and monitor their effectiveness.

Managing Rituals and Standards:

  • Manage all rituals and standards of work in the company.
  • Continuously improve and maintain the team's fulfillment of standards.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience in the international market:
    1. Proven experience in international companies is a must.
    2. Experience in scaling business processes and systems to new markets.
  2. Management Experience:
    1. At least 5-7 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in operations management.
    2. Experience in managing large and distributed teams.
  3. Financial Literacy:
    1. Strong understanding of financial metrics and indicators.
    2. Experience managing budgets, optimizing costs and driving profitability.
  4. Strategic Thinking:
    1. Ability to develop and implement company growth strategies.
    2. Experience with SMART, OKR, Agile methodologies.
  5. Project management skills:
    1. Experience and skills in initiating, managing and implementing business process optimization and automation projects.
    2. Understanding of change management principles.
  6. Analytical Skills:
    1. Ability to analyze large amounts of data to make strategic decisions.
    2. Experience in monitoring and controlling KPI's.
  7. Flexibility and Adaptability:
    1. Ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment.
    2. Experience of working under uncertainty and high level of responsibility.
