Responsibilities:

• Service Operations Management:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize processes for device servicing and maintenance.
  • Establish systems for managing service requests and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of installations and maintenance across all regions.
• Team Building & Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and manage service teams in countries where our devices are operational.
  • Coordinate with local contractors when in-house teams are not available.
  • Provide clear goals, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities for team members.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and R&D teams to understand device requirements and ensure seamless integration into service processes.
  • Coordinate service-related activities with central offices in Milan and Riga.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Ensure service engineers are trained on technical aspects of our parcel lockers and related solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues in collaboration with R&D teams.
• Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Use data analytics to monitor service performance, identify improvement areas, and make informed decisions.
  • Report regularly on key performance metrics to leadership.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience:
  • A technical degree (e.g., Engineering, IT, or a related field).
  • Proven experience in managing service teams, preferably in the logistics, manufacturing, or self-service solutions industries.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software systems, preferably in IoT or self-service solutions.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues and provide actionable solutions.
• Leadership & Management:
  • Strong team-building and leadership skills, with a track record of forming high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams in multiple countries.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages (Italian, Latvian, or Arabic) is a plus.
• Communication & Collaboration:
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
