Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Experience in ERP/MES systems is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in productivity, efficiency, and quality
Design and implement optimized production workflows, layouts, and tooling
Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and validating manufacturing processes
Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with safety and quality standards
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, scrap rate, and downtime
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process-related issues
Recommend and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and cost-reduction initiatives
Train production staff on new processes and equipment
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations
